(12/30/2007) “We wish to repeat the same achievements in the New Year!” The year that ends was the “fullest” for Dimos Dikoudis, who won all championships with Panathinaikos at Greece and Europe and also with our national team which remained among the first four places at Spanish Eurobasket. “A year full of championships ends up, having as a pitch the acquisition of the trophy of Euroleague. It was a dream that both I and the rest of the team wanted so much” claimed Dimos Dikoudis and he added: “I am really happy being part of a historic year for Panathinaikos”. The dynamic power forward of the team of “trifili” continued: “We ended this year in a beautiful way, by winning AEK and the New Year we wish to repeat last year’s achievements. We have the same zest and will for the New Year. I believe that we have all we need to reach the end of the course at all Championships and thereafter everything will be proven in the field”. As far as our National team is concerned, he commented: “We are used with this National team to win medals. The team remained among the first four European teams, which I think is important. Although we had not our best Eurobasket, we took a good place and I believe we have all the credentials to contest more medals and remains at the European top.
