(2/16/2007) «We must show our good face against Olympiacos» Panathinaikos entered the Euroleague's Top 16 in an impressive way. Dimos Dikoudis was the leader of the team, which crashed Efes Pilsen. He boosted Panathinaikos when he entered the game and now says: «We won the opening game of Euroleague's Top 16. The win is very important as well as our good performance. The point is, though, that we won one game and we have five more. Our performance against Efes Pilsen will give us a psychological boost, because we wanted no surprises in our opening game and to show that we want the first place in our group. We improved a lot our defense and if we keep playing like that, especially in defense, we'll be good also in the next games. Our fans helped us a lot and I hope they continue like this». As for the game against Olympiacos, Dikoudis says: «Now we have a big game for the greek league against Olmypiacos and the only thing we have in our minds is how to win and remain on the top of the standings. We are in good shape, as it seemed in the game against Efes Pilsen, and I believe that we'll show the same good face also against Olympiacos.
