(10/11/2006) «We've got to be serious against Aris» Panathinaikos won twice Maroussi and qualified for the final of the greek cup. Dimos Dikoudis was one of the best players of the green team in this series. «We are very happy we reached the final of the greek cup. This was one of our goals this year. We played two totally different games against Maroussi. In the first game, in OAKA, we made our best performance so far. We played extremely well and we didn't let Maroussi react. As a result of this we had been qualified for the final from the first game already. We wanted to win in the second game, too. Maroussi was more serious and we, on the other hand, played very bad on some parts of the game. That's why the game went close till the end. Then, we got serious just on the right moment and we won and ended the series with 2-0. We'll focus on the final later. We'll play against a tema from A2, but this means nothing for us. We want to win the cup no matter what the opponent is». As for the beginning of the A1 league and the game against Aris in OAKA, Dimos Dikoudis said: «We are starting with the game against Aris, which is a Euroleague team. We want to start well, so we've got to be serious. We'll miss our fans once more. But this will be the last that we'll play without fans and that's very good». Back
