(8/4/2006) «We can achieve something good in Japan» Akropolis tournament is over and Dimos Dikoudis comes to his first conclusions about the national team a few days before the departure to China. There will be held the last friendly games before the World Championships. «The test was positive. I think we've been improved even more than the first games in Bormio. We've reached the point we had to reach so far. Now we are entering the final stage of the preparation and on Monday we are leaving to China. The World Championships is in front of us. We can be improved even more and we have to work hard the next two weeks so as to reach the highest level. Playing in Athens in front of the Greek fans, who had the chance to see the team for tyhe last time before the World Championships, was very good for us. Although these were just friendly games, they gave us significant boost and showed that we can achieve something good in Japan. The 70% of the visitors of the web site of Dimos Dikoudis believe that the national team will win a medal in Japan, 10% of them believe that the team will be 4th, and 20% that the team will be in the first eight.
