(2/21/2006) «We have a bitter taste, but it's imprtant that we played in the final» The loss in the final of the Copa del Ray left a bitter taste in everybody's mouth in Pamesa. Despite the outstanding performance of Dimos Dikoudis, who scored 26 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Pamesa lost to Tau Ceramica (80-85). «We made a great effort, that's for sure», says Dimos about Valencia's performance in Copa del Ray. «We reached the final and we wanted badly to win. The final had two faces for us. The bad, when we allowed Tau to build a big gap. And the good, when we dominated in the game and cut the deficit to 5 points. One or two bad choises, though, were crucial for us and stopped us from equalizing and going for the win till the end. We have a bitter taste in our mouths, but we made a great effort and it is important that we played in the final. Now we have to keep playing in the league the way we played in Copa del Ray». Back
