(12/1/2008) «Extra motivation for me Panionios' goals in Greece and Europe» Dimos Dikoudis closed the chapter of Valencia and opened a new one in Greece with Panionios. Greek forward agreed with the team until the end of the season. «Previous days many things happened in Valencia, starting with Fotis Katsikaris and Jonny Rogers who were released and then with the different philosophy. All these affected me» mentioned Dikoudis and added: «I did not want to play for a team with different philosophy from what I met in the beginning. I did not also want to play with a different role from what I knew. People of Valencia had different things in their minds and we decided to end our co-operation. As for the incident that many people mentioned, I  just asked the reasons for the fact that I did not play against Granada. Until that game, I used to play in the starting line up». Panionios is the fifth team in Dikoudis' career. Greek forward will have the chance to play again in Euroleague. «I'm glad for the fact that I will play for Panionios. The team has high expectations in Greece and Europe. I'm also glad for returning in Euroleague and I will do my best to help my team». Back
